以前ＴＶで　「明治神宮の森」　の特集番組を観ました

3名の学識者らが　強い信念と使命感を持って

150年先の未来に　永遠に続く森をつくるという　壮大な計画のもと　

延べ11万人の国民とともに　日本全国から集められた献木によって

1915（大正4年）～1920（大正9年）に造成されました

明治神宮の職員として　長く森の管理に携わる　林苑技師の方のお言葉

「森のために　人間ができるお手伝いって何でしょうか？」　という質問に

見守るってことでしょうか・・・ほんのちょっとね　見守って　ほんのちょっとお手伝いしてあげるくらい・・・

できるだけ森は自分の力でやっていく　また森はそれだけの力を持っていると思いますので・・・

林に流れる　優しい風のように　森人（守人）はつぶやいた

Watching over

I have watched a TV program featured about the forest of the Meiji Shrine before.
The forest was developed in Tokyo between 1915 and 1920.
Three scientists and a total of 110,000 people carried out a grand project of creating an everlasting forest in the center of Tokyo, which would take 150 years. For this project, so many trees were donated from all over Japan.

In this program, a man who has been working there for a long time said something memorable to me.
"What can we do to help the forest?" the interviewer asked him.
"I think watching over them... just a little bit... I only help them when it's necessary. Forest can grow by themselves. I believe that they have their own energy to do so." He whispered like a mild wind going through the forest.
