孟宗竹・淡竹・真竹（苦竹）の順番に　筍が出揃うと

その上では笹の葉が　次々と芽を吹き

竹林一体が　若葉色に染まり始める

この時期に現れるのが　このお方

ベニカミキリ　そしてこちらが　タケトラカミキリ

そしてチビというのは　チビタケナガシンクイムシのこと

名前の通り　黒ゴマみたいに小さい

竹に携わる職人たちには　このお三方に悩みぬいた歴史があるので

決して歓迎される虫ではないけれど　弊社では観察に観察を重ねて

ずいぶんと被害は　少なくなった

Insects that Feed on Bamboo

Three kind of bamboo shoots have come out from the ground.
This is the season of which insects that feed on bamboos become active.
These are the pictures of insects named "benikamikiri" and "taketorakamikiri" (members of the longhorn beetle family).
Beside these two, there is a kind called "chibitakenagasinkuimushi" and as suggested in their name, this insects is very small.
Unfortunately, they don't get a warm welcome from the people who work with bamboo.
But the result of us observing them carefully again and again, the damage caused by the insects has been decreasing.
