５月１２日に　一斉に顔を出してから

そろそろ雨待ち顔になり始めている　と思っていたら

平年より４日ほど早い　６月３日の　梅雨入りの雨

ありがとう　そうつぶやきながら　空を見上げる

この真竹竹林では　昨年確認した　タケノコの本数は７本

そのせいだろうか　今年の子たちの　このパワー！

A Gift from the Sky　

It has rained little since the bamboo shoots of Matake came out on the 12th of May.
When I heard that the rainy season had begun in this Kinki region of Japan, I gazed up to the sky and murmured, "thank you!"
Last year, I only found seven bamboo shoots in this bamboo forest .
But this year, bamboo shoots are growing vigorously and I can see eye- popping numbers them.
