昨年秋にオープンしました　篁を訪れました

緻密なデザインの　店内へ入ると

この酒器各種に　目が釘付けになりました

竹林で生きる　竹たちの清冷さが

しっかりと宿っている　そんな気がしました

重厚ななかにも　どこかホッとするような　絶妙なバランスの中で

仕上げを決める　漆職人Aさんの 　吟味を重ねるお人柄が　

落ち着いた　やさしさを　湛えています　

Examination

Recently I visited "Takamura" (a directly-managed store of Takano-Chikko) which opened up last autumn.
The exterior of the store was elaborately designed and a bamboo sake set which was displayed prominently on a shelf caught my eyes right after I entered the store.
It was very beautiful.
Mr."A" is the lacquer craftsman who applies finishing touches to these sets.
I felt in his work reveals his thorough character.
what's more, he is a diligent and cool-headed craftsman.
