庭木の剪定（せんてい）の　お手伝いの帰りにご主人から

「明日は七夕ですよ」と　切ったばかりの笹の若葉をいただきました

そしてご主人は教えてくれました　

「立葵（タチアオイ）の花が　１番上まで咲けば　梅雨が明けます」

帰り道のその花は　あと３つ蕾が付いています

遥か遠い　天の川へ　笹の小舟は　届くでしょうか

The Star Festival

I received some fresh bamboo leaves from the master of the house at the end of work.
He said. "Tomorrow is the Star Festival! Incidentally, do you know, the rainy season is over if Hollyhock blooms to the top."

I looked at the flowers on my way home there were still three buds remaining .

I wonder if the bamboo-leaf boat will arrive to the Milky Way far away.
