朝空いっぱいに　うろこ雲が　そよぐ頃

高桐院の和尚様から　お便りを戴きました

丁寧で　温かな　和尚様の言葉を読むうちに　

高桐院で見た　小さな木の芽を思い出しました

２年前の出会いの日から　大きくなっているのかな？

会える日は　待ち遠しい　神無月

A big tree sprout

Around the time cirrocumulus clouds increased in the morning sky, I received a letter from the chief priest of Kotou-in(sub-temple of Daitoku-ji).
I suddenly remembered the sprout I found in the bamboo forest of Kotou-in last year while I am reading the letter.
That reminds me, I wonder if that big tree sprout is still growing healthily.
I am looking forward to seeing the sprout in October.
