弊社が管理させていただいている　伊佐家住宅（重要文化財）の竹林には

おおよそ3000本の真竹の中に　孟宗竹が数本だけ共存しています

今年育った孟宗竹はたった2本ですが　この貫禄です

竹はその花をめったに咲かせないため　地下茎から無性的に繁殖します

そのためたとえ混生しても　お互いが混ざり「孟真竹」なる筍は生えないようです

これほどの逆境を　孤軍奮闘（こぐんふんとう）する若い　いのちを

真竹たちは　眩しいやさしいまなざしで　見つめているかもしれません

共存の絶妙なバランス　生きる知恵が醸し出す　調和の風景

Mousouchiku and Matake

Our company has been responsible for taking care of Isake-jyuutaku(An important cultural property)'s bamboo forest for the past six years.
In this bamboo forest, only a few Mousouchiku bamboo plants coexist among over three thousand Matake bamboos.
This year, again, only two Mousouchiku bamboo shoots have sprouted, but they have a dignified presence.

Bamboo flowers very infrequently,and usually reproduces asexually through rhizomes.
Therefor, they don't interbreed with other strains.
This forest is not suitable for Mousouchiku to grow, but they try very hard.
I wonder if the bamboos of Matake gaze at the young struggled Mousouchike with tender smiles.
