高桐院の御住職より
「　雪折れの竹を伐って下さいますか？　」

との御一報を受けて　お伺いすると

色とりどりのツバキの花が　目を楽しませてくれました

春の木と書いて「椿（ツバキ）」

楓参道の竹の手すりも　四つ目垣も　新しい青竹となり

いよいよ新年度が始まるのだな

"Turning point"

Recently I visited Kotou-in(sub-temple of Daitoku-ji)
by order of the chief priest.
He asked me to cut bamboo broken by snow.

When I went there, Tsubaki(camellia) flowers of many different colors
were in bloom,which were pleasure to my eyes.
"Tsubaki" consists "tree" and "spring" in chinese character.

Bamboo banister of kaede-sandou(maple-approach)
as well as bamboo fence of the temple had been replaced new one.

New fiscal year will start soon.
