竹が葉替わりをする春先から5月初旬　竹林に入る度にRさんは立ち止まり笹葉を見上げ

5月中旬　一面若葉色になったのを見て　ようやくホッとします

毎年繰り返される当たり前の風景を目にしながらも　ふとその育ちゆく花も虫もサラサラと散る笹の葉も

全てが新しい初夏の一場面で　同じでもなく　当たり前でもないことに気づきます

身の周りのささやかな変化にも　気付こうとして　心を傾ける

From early spring to the beginning of May when bamboo leaves were reborn,

I stopped walking each time when I came into bamboo forest to look up bamboo leaves.

In the middle of May, I felt relieved to find all of them became green.

While it is an ordinary view to be found out every year,

these growing flowers, insects and falling bamboo leaves are not the same.

They all live a new life in early summer which is not an ordinary thing.

I’d like to give my mind to find a little change around us.
